A Record of Fighting for You

I’m a proud U.S. Army veteran, former three-term State Assemblyman, and Dana Point Councilman. In Washington, I served on congressional leadership staff and was a Presidential Appointee at the Department of Veterans Affairs. I’ve lived in Dana Point for 21 years.

From groceries and gas, housing and healthcare, energy and education, prices in Orange County are way too high. We are losing the California dream with progressive policies of high taxes and regulations. Those on fixed incomes struggle due to higher costs and future generations cannot afford to live in the communities where they were raised.

In the State Assembly, I took on the powerful special interests in Sacramento and Orange County, earning a lot of powerful enemies. Those special interests resorted to dishonest personal attacks to intimidate me and created a very difficult time for me and my family.

But we are still here. And these fights have only strengthened our resolve, which is why I have decided to run for Congress. I have been conservative throughout my career, and as an activist and Assemblyman, I’ve been on the frontlines of some of our region’s biggest battles – and I am not done fighting.

Our nation is at a crossroads, and we need leaders in Congress who will fight for taxpayers, lower housing, gas, and grocery costs, protect our rights, and keep our nation safe. The June 2 primary election is a time for choosing and I ask for your vote in the fight to restore affordability to Orange County.
