ABOUT BILL
Army veteran Bill Brough was elected to the California State Assembly on November 4, 2014. He serves as the Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on Business and Professions and Vice Chair of the Committee on Revenue and Taxation. He also sits on the Committee on Appropriations; Budget; Communications and Conveyance; Governmental Organization; Veterans Affairs; and the Select Committee on Ports. Mr. Brough is the founder and Co-Chair of the California Legislative Irish Caucus, a 501c7 created to foster the cultural, political, and economic ties between California and Ireland.
Previously, Bill served on the Dana Point City Council and operated a government affairs consulting firm. He has served in a variety of capacities including as the White House Liaison at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, D.C. in the Bush Administration and as a Congressional Aide to former Congressman Chris Cox. Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school serving four years on active duty then graduated from the University of Connecticut. Bill and his wife live in Dana Point, California with their two children.
